So far, my garden, with as little effort as possible, is really taking off. I have had to add 3 cages around the tomatoes for all the weight. The Bell peppers are about waist high, but no bell peppers yet. I've got 2 cucumber plants climbing cages. Also, my 3 squash and 2 zucchini plants are performing beautifully. I wish I had put in this little effort last year! I have not cultivated, and haven't pained over every single weed. They have gotten organic food twice and organic pesticide once, and mostly the rain and the sprinkler system has done all the watering.
