Ella loves to be naked! While that is not always possible, she still enjoys laying around in her diaper. At night she like to chill out with her bouncy on vibrate and watch us eat dinner.

Yard Sale

It was really hot, but we had a really good turn out for the yard sale. Everyone had a good time. Even Mckenzie was well behaved!

These were taken Sunday after church before MeeMaw came over. Since Ella was having carrots for lunch we thought it would be best to go ahead and put on play clothes. So these pictures are for MeeMaw.

That Elephant has been hanging on her jumper for a month now but she just all of a sudden discovered it. WOW!! She can't get enough.

Friday Night with Friends

Friday night, we went over to Scott and Leslie WIlliams house, friends of ours from church, to have dinner. Ella did great, even though we got home a little late. They had a walker and their beautiful daughter, Presley, loved to show Ella how to move around in it. Ella loved it. We had a great time, good food and great company!!

Typical Night

We feed Ella, then put her in the bath. Ella and Daddy snuggle, while I cook dinner. Then we let her play in the floor for a while. Then off to bed. That's when the real work begins!

The first picture is of Ella sucking on toes, it looks like they are someone elses toes. I don't know how she does that! More importantly, She has started sleeping on her stomach. Not just on her stomach but face down!!! If anyone has any advice on how to keep her from doing this....let me know!!

At the Mall

Today we had to run some errands at the mall. Ella never complained once. She is such a sweet baby!

Sleeping

It took four months, but Ella's arms have finally stopped flailing around at night when she sleeps. She started sleeping through the night at 6 1/2 weeks but she always had to be swaddled to stay asleep all night. Tonight was the second night she has slept without being wrapped in a baby burrito. Suprisingly, she prefers her side and her tummy as sleeping positions....who knew! Now maybe some of her hair will grow back on the back of her head. We put her down between 7:30 and 8pm and wake her up at 6:30am. We actually may have to start putting her to bed earlier because its hard to wake up a sleeping baby.(breaks your heart)

Daddy's Softball Game

Tonight was daddy's make-up game from Tuesday. The weather was terrific! Ella loves being outside. She took her bottle and ate 1/2 a jar of bananas from a SPOON! Maybe we should try eating outside more often. Her cousin Cooper was there visiting Nonnie and Don, who came to watch Jason play softball. One of the players gave Cooper a softball just because he was so cute!! We had a great night and Ella loved watching the game.

Are you Serious!!

Tonight we tried bananas. DELICIOUS BANANAS! I couldn't believe she didn't like them. And with such an adorable bunny spoon.....I just don't understand. Oh I see....we don't like our spoon....is that it? If food comes in our mouth on a stick we refuse to swallow? We would rather suck yummy bananas off of mommy's finger? Are you serious? Well whatever works. There were more bananas on me and her than what could could have possibly slid down her throat! We will definately have to have a talk about this spoon problem.

Pass the peas please!!

I can't believe my baby is growing up so fast!! She prefers to play on her stomach, which is a totally new thing. Just a few weeks ago, she would cry after a few minutes on her stomach. Now, if I lay her down on her back, she just rolls over and trys to reach for toys. We had to take her to the doctor the other day because she had a rash. It turned out to just be baby exzema. Poor thing she is just like her DADDY!! She has been well lubricated and is taking less baths and the rash is pretty much gone! Also, she has started baby food. She really doesn't like the cereal.. She cries and gags when we give it to her. (I think its because of the texture) So we started with a vegatable. She tolerates the peas much more than the cereal, but still will only take a few bites. She wants to get her food much faster! I can tell she is eating them though because of the resulting diaper. It smells like horrible rotten peas. I made Jason change the first one.

Ella's 4 month shots

Today Ella went for her 4 month shots. She was in such a good mood, she was wiggling all over the table and talking up a storm. Of course that all changed when she got her shots, but she was such a big girl, she only cried for a few seconds.

I love Dad PJ's

I love these Pajama's, they are so cute!!!! Ella has been trying to scoot, she has learned to pull her legs up under her, but then she doesnt know what to do. So she usually ends up just rolling around to get what she wants.

Oak Mountain State Park

Today we went to Oak Mountain State Park to do a little hiking. We weren't sure how Ella would do so we picked a short trail that had an animal rehabilitation center at the end of it, so we could take her into the a/c for a few minutes before we hit the trail agian. She loved it!! She even fell asleep in the backpack! Also, I just want to say a big "Thank You" to Kevin and Holly Andrews for the backpack/stroller! It was really neat, and it gave Jasons back a rest while we strolled her around.

TV time

Ella is 4 months old today!!!
We try to limit TV time to just on the weekends. She gets to watch two 30min. videos a day at baby school. On the weekends, in the morning, she watches cartoons. This is her watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She is in the zone!

Baby School

Ella started baby school last week! I was so sad. I would have done anything to be able to stay home with her. It seemed to be much harder on me than it was on her. A couple days of adjustment is all it took and she was on thier schedule and seems to be having a good time. I have never seen her cry there, although I'm sure it has happened. We love her teachers and we feel really fortunate to have found such a wonderful daycare. It's right across the road from our office too.

What should I play with first?

Ella is starting to want to play with toys. Everything you show her is amazing to her and she reaches for it. She also wants to taste everything. She is such a sweet baby. She always seems to be happy. We are so blessed!!

Little Cutie

Today was my Dad's retirement party, we didn't get any pictures there unfortunately but Ella looked so cute today. I really love that outfit. She would really love to be able to get around but she just can't figure out how yet.
